1. Scope
These coworking terms and conditions apply to all agreements on the use of workspaces, meeting rooms, studios and other services of Sawah Coworking Canggu (“Sawah”, “we”) by members and day guests (“users”). Deviating terms only apply if we agree to them in writing.
2. Membership & conclusion of contract
The contract is concluded by booking (online, by email or at the front desk) and our confirmation. Memberships are personal and non-transferable. A valid ID is required for registration. Use is subject to the plan booked (e.g. Day Pass, Flex, Hot Desk, Focus Resident).
3. Access & use
Opening hours and access rights depend on the plan booked. Keycards must be kept safe; any loss must be reported immediately. The premises may only be used for lawful, professional purposes. Commercial subletting is not permitted. Meeting rooms and studios must be booked in advance and vacated on time.
4. House rules
We value respectful interaction: the Focus Studio is a quiet zone, calls take place in the call booths. Desks on the Open Deck must be cleared after use. Smoking (including e-cigarettes) is only allowed in designated areas. Pets are welcome by arrangement. Instructions from the community team must be followed. Balinese offerings (canang sari) and temple areas must be respected.
5. Prices & payment
The prices valid at the time of booking apply. Membership fees are payable in advance and can be paid in IDR by bank transfer, card or common payment services. In case of late payment we may suspend access until the balance is settled. All prices mentioned on this website are examples.
6. Term & cancellation
Day passes and flex packages end when their validity expires. Monthly memberships renew automatically for another month unless cancelled with 14 days’ notice to the end of the month. Meeting room and studio bookings can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours in advance; after that we charge 50% of the booking price. The right to terminate for good cause remains unaffected.
7. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. Otherwise our liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical for the contract. We accept no liability for personal belongings, devices and data brought onto the premises unless we are at fault; please use the lockers. Users are liable for damage they cause to furniture and equipment. We do not guarantee uninterrupted internet or power (e.g. in cases of force majeure) but will endeavour to restore service quickly.
8. Privacy
We process personal data (e.g. name, contact details, payment and access data) solely to perform the contract, keep the premises safe and meet legal obligations. Data is only shared with third parties where necessary to perform the contract (e.g. payment providers). You can request information or deletion at any time by email to hello@newofficeworld.org.
9. Governing law & jurisdiction
The laws of the Republic of Indonesia apply. To the extent legally permitted, the place of jurisdiction is Denpasar, Bali. Mandatory consumer protection rules of the country in which users have their habitual residence remain unaffected.
10. Final provisions
Should individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected. We will notify members of changes to these terms at least 30 days before they take effect.
